Abstract:
This atlas includes 500-700 "step-by-step" highest quality color photographs of all current laparoscopic and robotic urological procedures, complemented by technical details and caveats. Each procedure is also presented in video format in an accompanying DVD containing edited videos of each laparoscopic procedure described in the book. The atlas covers considerable recent advances in laparoscopic and robotic urology. Each technical step is covered by multiple sequential color photographs which are accompanied by a detailed figure legends describing nuances, subtleties, and pearls from the author's extensive personal experience in over 3000 laparoscopic/robotic cases. Explanatory color line drawings provide additional clarity. Minimal stand-alone text is presented. Where appropriate, vital data is shown to make specific points. The intention is to give the reader the impression of actually being present in the operative room, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the surgeon.
