Abstract: This book will facilitate the integration of much needed content about care of older adults into their curricula by faculty in non-gerontological Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Clinical Specialist Nursing (CNS) programs. Content will include, but not be limited to, a discussion of the rationale or need to do this, challenges to inclusion of this content, strategies to address these challenges, gerontological content that needs to be included, and examples from NP programs that have been successful in doing so.
