Abstract: | This book will provide a fully comprehensive and highly illustrated (using mostly operative colour photographs) "how to" technical reference manual, demonstrating surgical procedures in a step by step manner. The aim is to enable the reader to understand how and why any particular procedure is undertaken. This second volume will focus on the secondary correction of maxillofacial trauma surgery. The reality is unfortunately that a lot of patients, for a number of reasons, are not restored back to their initial appearances and secondary correction goes hand in hand with primary repair. Each step is illustrated photographically or with a line diagram with succinct explanatory text. The aim is to enable the reader to understand how and why any particular procedure is undertaken. |
